Occasionally our clients will post to our wall, and occasionally they will literally write on our wall. Naomi Haskell is leaving for home tomorrow, but before leaving she took the time to share a few words of encoragement and motivation.
"A plaque on the wall in the 'Women's House' says, "You never really leave a place you love - part of it you take with you, leaving a part of you behind."
I'm leaving Real Life Fitness and Health with a renewed love for taking care of my body, mind and soul. I've gained life-long friendships. I'm taking away priceless knowledge about nutrition, exercise and myself. I'm leaving behind blood, sweat, tears, and quite a few pounds and inches.
For those of you who follow in my footsteps, know this: every staff member here, both at Real Life and Treehouse, has something to offer you, make sure to take advantage of EVERYTHING they have to teach. You too will have lessons to learn and your own gifts to take...and leave.
Best wishes, hand tough and roll with the punches!"
- Naomi Haskell 3/10 and 9/10
Thanks Naomi, you're a motivation to us all.

Homemade Protein Bars
Here's a recipe for a protein bar that is quick, easy-to-make, and tastes great:
Ingredients
Ingredients
2 cups oats (I use quick oats)
4 scoops vanilla protein powder (I use Complete Whey by Cytosport, http://www.cytosport.com/products/specialized/complete-whey-powder)
.5 cup Greek Yogurt 0% fat
2 TB Peanut Butter Powder (You can sub the peanut butter powder and yogurt for .5 cup peanut butter and .5 cup water.)
Cinnamon (sprinkle in)
2-3 droppers of Pure Liquid Vanilla Stevia from NuNaturals, https://nunaturals.com/product/103
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl with a fork. Press the mixed ingredients into a 9x9 baking dish that has been presprayed with Pam. Sprinkle more cinnamon on top and put the pan in the freezer for 20-30 minutes to help the bars set up. Divide into smaller bars (8-12), put them in individual plastic baggies and have them ready for a quick snack while you're on the go.
Nutritional Info (This info is for the entire recipe. You will need to divide the numbers below by the number of bars you created for the info on each individual bar.)
